Located in the eastern area of North Carolina, Black Mountain is part of the Blue Ridge mountain range. This community is home to attractions like the Black Mountain Center for the Arts and the Swannanoa Valley Museum. Pet owners wanting to travel with their pets have a number of pet-friendly lodging options in Black Mountain.

The Inn on Mill Creek

Situated within the Pisgah National Forest, The Inn on Mill Creek offers pet-friendly accommodations and convenience to Black Mountain and Bernard Mountain. Each of the inn’s seven guest units include scenic views of the forest, and some feature amenities like Jacuzzi tubs and private terraces. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast each morning, and The Inn on Mill Creek also is home to an orchard and a solarium. In addition, this inn is within walking distance to the Old Fort Picnic Area. Pet owners pay an additional nightly fee, and the inn allows two pets.

Comfort Inn

The Comfort Inn in the southern part of the Black Mountain area allows guests to bring up to two pets. Other amenities include a swimming pool, a business center and a free breakfast buffet each morning. The Comfort Inn is less than 15 miles from the Biltmore Estate and the Asheville Mall. The hotel charges a daily pet fee.

The Black Mountain Inn

The Black Mountain Inn is a pet-friendly lodging option with seven guestrooms. All of the units at this inn feature hardwood floors and antique furnishings. Guests enjoy a complimentary breakfast daily, with offerings like homemade granola and French toast. The Black Mountain Inn also is home to a garden and wooded hiking area that comprises more than three acres. In addition, the inn is within walking distance of the Western North Carolina Shopping Center. Guests pay a nightly fee for pets.

Super 8 Black Mountain

Centrally located in Black Mountain, the Super 8 allows guests to bring multiple pets. Guest rooms include separate seating or work areas and complimentary Internet access. In addition, the Super 8 has a pool and a valet laundry service, and guests enjoy a free breakfast. This hotel is less than 15 minutes from the Western North Carolina Nature Center and the Black Mountain Reservoir. The Super 8 charges a non-refundable fee for pets.

The Madison Inn Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast

The Madison Inn Restaurant and Bed and Breakfast offers pet owners a complimentary doggy gift bag upon arrival, and a pet play area is one of the inn’s amenities as well. The 11 guestrooms feature private entrances and luxurious bedding. The inn is home to the Madison Inn Restaurant, which includes an outdoor patio and bar, and is less than five minutes from the Ridgecrest Conference Center and Camp Ridgecrest Lake. Pet owners pay a nightly fee.
