Kona Village Resort

Kona Village Resort in Kailua-Kona is only 20 minutes from the airport, but the village of Kailua-Kona feels cozy, quaint and nothing like the huge, bustling hotels up the coast. Rather than air-conditioned rooms or elevators, this hotel offers thatched-roof cottages with private hot tubs, and porches that overlook the beach. There are also two dining rooms, a plethora of ocean activities and a luau hosted right on the Kona Coast.
